Early morning our representative will pick you up from your hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train, Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours & Proceed for the sightseeing tour of – Taj Mahal-It is a White marble memorial (seven wonders of the world )Built by Shah Jahan to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal.Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist’s visit to Agra., This monument took 22 years , 20,000 men laboured over to complete and designed it .It is planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.. Agra Fort -Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms . At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. It was again a building constructed by Shahjahan who replaced an earlier wooden structure. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Day 04 / Agra - Jaipur ( By road Approx 5 Hrs)
Early morning a second visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise, Later drive to Jaipur- The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. Stop at Fatehpur Sikri-The deserted city Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1585.It was founded by the Mughal emperor Akbar to honor the Muslim saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who had foretold the birth of Akbar’s son and heir, Jahangir. Fatehpur Sikri stands untouched and perfectly preserved; a complete medieval fortress of red sandstone, with vast central squares, exquisitely carved multi-tiered pavilions, cool terraces and formal gardens.It ia s a masterpiece of Muslim architecture. It is a 25 miles (40km) west of Agra. Over night will be in Jaipur.
Day 05 / Jaipur - Delhi ( By train Dep 17:45 Hrs Arr 22:30 Hrs )
After breakfast checkout from hotel & visit the Amber Fort- located in Amber 11 km from Jaipur, It is set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Proceed for City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Sawai Maharaja Jai Singh, who founded Jaipur and also laid the foundation of the City Palace. The City Palace has projecting balconies, arches and the entrances. The palace covers one-seventh of the area in Jaipur. The City Palace also has a museum with an exclusive collection of Rajasthani costumes, miniature paintings, carpets and royal paraphernalia. Later visit Hawa Mahal- Constructed in 1799.It is the most sensational monument in the city of Jaipur.Hawa mahal ( Palace of Winds) from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.The palace has 953 niches and windows. This five-story, pyramid-shaped structure is made up of small casements, each with tiny windows and arched roofs, beautifully modeled and carved. There is a total lack of ornamentation on the inner face of the building. The chambers are plain and more mass of pillars and passages leading to the top storey. Evening transfer to railway station to board the air conditioned train to Delhi, Dinner in the train. Arrive Delhi & our representative will pick you from Railway station & transfer to hotel.Overnight will be at Delhi
